Ingredients
  

  • 2 salmon fillets 6 oz each
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill or 1 tsp dried dill
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp fresh thyme optional
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Baking:
  • 1.In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, dill, parsley, garlic, salt, and black pepper.
  • 2.Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them.
  • 3.Let the salmon marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  • Grilling:
  • Preheat grill to medium-high heat (375–400°F) and oil the grates.
  • Place the salmon fillets skin-side down and grill for 4-5 minutes per side.
  • Remove from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.

  • Pan-Searing:

  • Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the salmon before serving.

Notes

Best Herbs for Salmon: Dill, parsley, thyme, rosemary, basil, and cilantro.
Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheating: Warm in a 275°F oven for 10-15 minutes wrapped in foil to retain moisture.
